Projects
SIRDP's programs revolve around its many task forces. The goals of SIRDP's projects are:
- to increase employment and income,
- to improve infrastructure capacity, quality of life, local leadership, and the quality of the workforce, and
- to provide greater access to capital and education to rural communities.
SIRDP intends to continue implementing its current programs throughout Southern Indiana. As programs conclude, SIRDP will evaluate the success of the program, determine the appropriateness of continuing the program, and, if appropriate, begin implementation in another Southern Indiana location.
SIRDP will continue to distribute all of its reports to its board and advisory board of directors who are encouraged to share the reports with their peers.
All of SIRDP's programs can be replicated and transferred beyond the borders of the State of Indiana. SIRDP continually works toward developing new programs for implementation.
